We were already on the road this morn when the text came in that our first basketball game of the day was canceled, so the boys and I decided to have one last leisurely breakfast at Monell's.
And as I am writing this post, I suddenly hit rewind... I'm listening to our friend Tha City Paper's new album that dropped last night, and I just heard "passing the plate at Monell's" on his Black History Month track... Ironic. I think this Paper track just became one of my Favorite Things Nashville.
